I was honored to be a part of this couple's very special day! I've known Deanna since we were little girls and did dance class together but didn't meet Joe until that day, and could tell instantly that they were so in love! When Deanna contacted me, she asked if I was available that week to do their photos because ether were getting married!!! I didn't even know she was engaged, but that's because they were never even engaged!
They decided to have a small simple wedding ceremony and surprise their family and friends. It was simply beautiful and it's amazing how a wedding doesn't have to include a fancy dress, elaborate ceremonies, a fancy church or even lots of people, but that a wedding can happen anywhere and anytime when two hearts want to be joined as one!
I couldn't be more happy for Mr and Mrs Etienne and only wish them true happiness as they journey in this life together!!!
(These "engagement" photos and this wedding took place back in November but was waiting to share them until after the entire family knew about their marriage!)
The ceremony took place right outside her parent's house and everyone was cold, but no one seemed to mind at all! :)
The "reception" included a toast, refreshments, marriage license signing and some great toddler music and dancing!
We followed all of this up with some family photos out in the snow!
Joe isn't exactly accustomed to snow, so when Deanna suggested doing some snow angels, he said, "ok?!" He had no idea what he was getting himself into! It made for a sweet and chilly end to the day!
