Josey, 15 Days New {Maine Newborn Photographer}

Josey was so sweet to work with and I cannot wait to see her again! Her cheeks are perfect and she is such a beautiful baby! We had to work really hard to get her to sleep but we did and while she was awake we got some great awake shots too! :)

Oliver Hears A Who! {Maine Newborn Photographer}

Where to do I even begin? This amazingly gorgeous little guy was the perfect little newborn model for me! He is an 11 day old package of perfection. Him, his Mom and his Grandma came over for a lovely time and for about 2 1/2 out of the 3 hours he slept like a champion. I couldn't have asked for a more successful newborn session. :)

I don't usually share last names but Oliver's last name is Horton and his nursery is decorated in the theme of "Horton Hears A Who!" by Dr. Seuss. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a children's book lover, so when I heard about his nursery theme I got a tad bit excited! And here are some of my favorites from his session... 

Little Leah, 7 days new! {Maine Newborn Photographer}

My heart melts when I look through these photos because I thoroughly enjoyed my time with new parents Ben & Kayla, and their newest addition, 7-day-old Leah! I spent 3 1/2 hours with them in their home in Gray, ME and had a fantastic time snuggling Leah, putting her to sleep and taking her portraits! I couldn't have asked for a better sleeper and when she was awake I didn't mind cuddling her at all! It had been way to long since I had held a new baby, so this was a special treat! :)
